Through a partnership with Set Sustentável, we at BALMA® strive to raise awareness, educate, and drastically reduce the environmental impact of our production projects. Among our sustainable initiatives, we ensure that all solid waste is properly disposed of;
we support independent cooperatives and garbage collectors; we stimulate the circular and ESG economy and bolster reforestation efforts of deforested ecosystems through the purchase of carbon credit. In so doing, we aim to offset the environmental impact of our production projects. To achieve our environmental goals, we work with VERRA REDD+, an international certification institute located in Washington, DC.
