Chica Andrade is an Afro-indigenous Brazilian director, whose entertainment career is characterized by astounding conquests, and now makes her marketing debut.
Chica codirected the reality show, “Segura Essa Pose”, that premiered on Globo Play on the last International Pride Day (2024). She is, furthermore, the director and screenwriter of “Estamos Todos Aqui,” a short film about a disowned trans woman, which has won 42 awards and was eligibility for Oscar in 2018. Among her recent achievements, she was selected to participate in the American Film Showcase International Workshop at the University of Southern California alongside twelve other renowned filmmakers from around the globe. In Hollywood, she intends to finalize the script for a biographical feature film about Erika Hilton, a pioneering trans congresswoman in Brazil. She has been producing this film independently for the past two years.
